Ita Airways and Aeroitalia have signed an agreement to develop commercial collaborations .
A statement announced that "the two companies will adopt a progressive approach to commercial cooperation, primarily launching a network-wide interline agreement, which will be active starting in July and will cover the remainder of Summer 26 and Winter 26/27."
THE This agreement (special prorate agreement) should expand passenger service and will cover connecting traffic. Further initiatives will be evaluated based on the results of these initial collaborations.
The collaboration - the note further underlines - will allow, once the technical implementation is completed, to also increase connectivity via Rome Fiumicino to and from Sardinia , guaranteeing those benefiting from territorial continuity and, more generally, Italian citizens greater ease of travel and a strengthening of the connection offering by both carriers.
