For a 52-year-old entrepreneur from Terralba, the precautionary measure of prohibition to approach with an electronic bracelet has been triggered: he is accused of stalking, threats and injuries to a 28-year-old.

In early January, the complaint was filed with the Public Prosecutor's Office to report what had been happening since the summer of 2022, when the young man had had a relationship with the daughter of the entrepreneur under investigation. And it was precisely this sentimental relationship and alleged work rivalries, according to the victim, that were at the root of the grudges and hatred that the entrepreneur had towards her. From then on, the suspect began to behave in an over-the-top manner, with him on several occasions offending and insulting the victim with harsh words, provoking him and seeking physical confrontation even in front of other people, in a bar and a restaurant. And then death threats, an escalation that culminated in October 2024 when the 53-year-old showed up at the gym where the young man was training. As emerges from the CCTV footage, there was a violent fight. The intervention of the instructor who separated the two was providential, even if the suspect then tried to hit them again with a barbell. In the end, exasperated by the situation, the 28-year-old, assisted by the lawyer Vittorio Delogu, chose to change cities.

At the request of the prosecutor Marco De Crescenzo, the investigating judge Salvatore Carboni considered that there was a concrete risk of repetition of the crime and ordered a ban on approaching the 52-year-old with an electronic bracelet, defended by Giovanni Cau and Gianfranco Siuni.
