Carabinieri from the Terralba station arrested a woman resident in the Oristano area, already known to law enforcement, who was found in possession of a large quantity of marijuana.
The 40-year-old was riding a scooter when officers inspected her, becoming suspicious of her agitation during a simple check. Indeed, she was hiding approximately 700 grams of marijuana in the glove compartment.
The officers then extended their searches to the woman's home, finding another 74 grams of the same substance, €880 in cash, precision scales, and various packaging materials, all of which were seized.
The arrested woman, by order of the Public Prosecutor on duty at the Oristano Public Prosecutor's Office, was placed under house arrest pending a validation hearing.
