Teresa Atzeri, the grandmotherly basket weaver and teacher, dies in Sinnai.

Condolences in Sinnai for the death of one of its grandmothers, Teresa Atzeri, who turned 100 last July.

The grandmother was well-known and respected, also remembered for her skill as a master basket weaver. She was the sister of Barbara Atzeri, founder of the first historic restaurant in the tourist hamlet of Solanas, who died at the age of ninety.

Among Mrs. Teresa's fondest memories are her marriage to Angelo Uda in 1950 and the birth of her children.
