Porto San Paolo. Following the events of the last few days, with several complaints filed with the Carabinieri, the Tavolara Bay company is taking a stand to protect its staff. The Sardinian-Brazilian real estate company has released a statement regarding several incidents at Cala Finanza.

The company's management wrote: "We are monitoring and reporting to municipal, regional, and state authorities the escalating violence developing around Cala Finanza ; this violence has culminated in recent incidents that have endangered the safety of workers, many of whom are Sardinian. Tavolara Bay SRL has always acted in compliance with the law, throughout all phases of the project approval process, and will continue to do so with care and open dialogue with administrative and judicial authorities. We take this opportunity to clarify that no construction or intervention of any kind is underway in the Cala Finanza area (Villa Joy and its surroundings). In recent days, mechanical means have been used only to place potted plants and plant existing vegetation."

In compliance with the law and administrative and legal processes, in recent weeks the company had begun work to convert the existing villa into a restaurant , without any external modifications and in compliance with the single authorization 74/2026 issued by the ZES. At the same time, out of respect for the judges and public bodies involved, and pending the TAR's decisions, Tavolara Bay has decided to suspend the construction of seven removable glamping sites, despite their approval. Currently, Villa Joy is used as a private residence . The company reiterates its intention to develop a hotel, villas, or golf course in Cala Finanza or in areas within 300 meters of the sea. Tavolara Bay Srl confirms its willingness to encourage a constructive and peaceful discussion, based on knowledge of the facts, with the residents and local and regional institutions.
