Attempts to repair the Parco Tenda haven't yielded the desired results: the storm damage is too severe. The structure, one of the beating hearts of the Tempio Carnival, will therefore remain closed, and reopening is not expected for about thirty days.
Until February 17th, the Parco Tenda will be closed for the long-awaited celebrations. But all is not lost: the possibility of a new special event is gaining traction, which could allow the festivities that were cancelled during Carnival to be rescheduled.
Yesterday morning, firefighters and technicians inspected the site to assess the extent of the damage and prevent the cancellation of the festival, which will now have significant financial repercussions, given the scale of the event.
