He had requested the tests in prison, to prove to the Tempio District Judge that the drugs found in his camper were for personal use. And the tests proved the case to be correct for a 50-year-old man from Bergamo, a longtime frequenter of the Valle della Luna in Santa Teresa. The man is not a drug dealer, according to defense attorneys Gerardo Giacu and Marcella Pinna. The tests provided a significant argument for the two lawyers. The man arrested by the Carabinieri in Trinità tested positive for ketamine, speed, marijuana, MDMA pills, MD, cocaine, hashish, and, to round out the list, hallucinogenic mushrooms.

It was truly hard to believe him, because the Carabinieri had seized a dozen types of narcotics in his trailer. But the medical tests speak clearly. The man's camper had been stopped by the Carabinieri of Trinità on Provincial Road 90, near the town of Lu Colbu. The vehicle was, in fact, traveling in the direction of Santa Teresa. It must be said that, according to the documents, the people inside the camper did nothing to deceive the officers.

Proof that they weren't drug dealers. The narcotics were in the glove compartment and neatly catalogued in the back of the camper: 512 grams of ketamine, 287 grams of speed, 265 grams of marijuana, 98 grams of MDMA pills, 66 grams of MDMA, 45 grams of cocaine, 14 grams of hashish, and 5 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms. There were also oils containing the active ingredient cannabis. Everything needed for a vacation in the Valley of the Moon.

At the request of his lawyers, and based on the results of the tests, he was released by the judges of the Tempio Pausania court.
