Telelaser in Alghero, here are the streets where there will be speed detection

The Local Police of the Municipality of Alghero informs that, in order to prevent road accidents and guarantee traffic safety throughout the municipal area, starting from Friday 23 June it will restart the electronic speed control activity.

The checks will be carried out using a mobile speed detection device, more commonly known by the name of Telelaser , both in the suburban streets and in those of the inhabited center.

Here are the streets involved : viale Giovanni XXIII, via De Gasperi, via Sant'Agostino, via Vitt. Emanuele II/ SS 127 Bis, SS 292, viale I Maggio, SS 127 Bis, viale Burruni, via Don Minzoni, via Liguria, SS 291 Dir, SP 42 and the SP 55.

The control posts will be signaled and the checks will be carried out using Eltraff TruCam correctly reviewed and in compliance with the regulations of the sector. The instrument allows the detection of the speed of the vehicle before it passes in front of the station, therefore the operating patrol will be able to detect the speed of the vehicles as soon as they pass the warning notice of the control, for a distance that can even exceed 700 meters under certain conditions meters away.
