Serdiana taxpayers will also be able to resolve tax disputes amicably. The Municipality has approved the simplified settlement of tax bills related to their debts assigned to the Revenue Agency.

Registered municipal debts (IMU, TARI, single property tax, and fines for traffic violations) will be eligible for write-off. The measure affects tax debts collected from 2000 to 2023. Those participating in the program will be required to pay the outstanding principal and the notification and enforcement costs. Fines and interest will be waived in the cases provided for by law, benefiting the municipality, which will be able to collect on old debts, and taxpayers, who will be able to pay their dues without fines or late payment interest.

Municipal debts can be paid in a lump sum or in installments of up to 54 bimonthly installments over a period of nine years. For businesses, participating in the debt restructuring program will allow them to obtain a DURC (Duration of Repayment of Loans).
