They waited for the superheroes at the windows, and the superheroes arrived from above. This afternoon, starting at 4:00 PM, volunteers from the Sea-SuperEroiAcrobatici Odv association rappelled from the roof of the Microcitemico hospital in Cagliari, to the amazement of the hospitalized children and their families, for a special "Super Halloween."

While the descents from the roof took place outside, other superheroes and fantastic characters entered the wards to liven up the corridors and beds of the little patients who were unable to look out.

The traditional trick-or-treating was also on offer, with the distribution of small gifts and surprises. Healthcare workers also enthusiastically participated in the initiative. The goal, the association explains, was to break the routine of hospitalization and give the children a moment of relaxation.

Families expressed their appreciation for the day, which, the promoters emphasize, confirms the value of laughter and imagination in healthcare settings. The event falls in the year in which Sea-SuperEroiAcrobatici celebrates 10 years of activity in Italy, with the mission of bringing wonder and courage where it is most needed.
