The maximum temperature recorded by the control units of the official Arpas circuit was 27.1 degrees in Muravera. Twenty-seven rounds were those of Siniscola. The eastern coast of Sardinia was therefore the hottest territory on this first Sunday of spring, with the mercury column approaching the averages of a period closer to summer.

The assault on the beaches is obvious, with the Poetto di Cagliari crowded and with the first baths of the season that have multiplied.

However, the long hot interlude is about to be interrupted by a sharp drop in temperatures, also linked to the entry of a strong mistral wind, which could blow with gusts with intensity up to a storm.

The national civil protection has issued a warning of criticality: "We will see a decisive intensification of ventilation on Italy from the western quadrants, with a tendency to strengthen in the North due to gusts of favonio and in the Center-South close to the Apennine areas", reads , with further reinforcements from the North-West on the major islands and on the South». Possible, on the island, storm surges on the exposed coasts.

The deterioration, which will show its effects from the night, should be short-lived.
