A summer night dedicated to words, literature, and the magic of reading. On Saturday, September 12th, at 9:30 pm, Piazza Garibaldi in Suelli will host the fourth edition of Readings Under the Stars, an event included in the 2026 Summer Suellese program.
The initiative is organized by the Università Trexentese della Terza Età, in collaboration with the Pro Loco (Tourist Information Center) and with the patronage of the Suelli Municipal Administration. The aim is to transform a late-summer evening into a moment of encounter and sharing through literature. The format is open to anyone who wishes to participate through reading and acting. Poetry, literary excerpts, texts by past and present authors, quotes, or personal compositions: each participant can choose the words that best represent them and bring them to the stage.
The piazza will be set up like an open-air theater, leading the audience through verses, stories, and inspiration, in an atmosphere designed to enhance the pleasure of listening and sharing. The evening also aims to bring reading outside of its traditional settings, transforming it into a collective experience accessible to all generations. A book, a poem, or even a few lines can become an opportunity to tell a story, recall a memory, or share an emotion. Registration is due by September 10, 2026.
