The first problems have arisen in the city due to the strong winds that have been lashing Nuoro since this morning.
Firefighters are already engaged in several operations to secure roads and public areas.
On Via Manzoni, the road had to be temporarily closed due to debris falling from a building, posing a potential hazard to pedestrians and motorists. The area has been cordoned off pending technical inspections and final safety measures.
There was also disruption along the provincial road to Ortobene, where a large branch snapped off by the wind fell onto the roadway, partially blocking it. Crews responded to the scene to remove the tree and restore traffic flow.
Problems were also reported on Via Cedrino, where bad weather caused problems with some street lights, with interventions underway to avoid risks and ensure safety.
But Nuoro isn't the only city dealing with the disruption caused by the bad weather. In Baronia, the situation is particularly critical along several major roads , where numerous fallen trees are causing blockages and delays.
State Road 129 is blocked between the Onifai bridge and Orosei: several trees have fallen onto the roadway, impeding traffic in both directions. Traffic has been diverted to an alternative route.
Problems have also been reported at the intersection on the Galtellì link road, while the Provincial Road 25 is also affected, which is currently closed to traffic.
Similar problems are also being reported along the road from Orosei to Capo Comino, where fallen trees are causing traffic problems and endangering the safety of motorists.
