Fear in Lu Bagnu, in the hamlet of Castelsardo , where last night a large tree broke in Corso Italia, due to the strong gusts of wind that lashed the coasts of the North West.
The tree fell onto the road, but fortunately no one or property was damaged. The city administration immediately activated the civil protection team of the Volunteer Maritime Rescue Corps, which responded immediately to the scene to secure the area.
The team carried out a cleanup operation, clearing the area of the branches of the large shrub. The severe weather, with strong gusts of wind, also caused a tree to collapse in Sorso , on Viale Cottoni, where some broken branches fell onto the road and sidewalks.
This morning, the firefighters began the clearing operation, having received dozens of reports during the night due to the bad weather.
