Carousels, street vendors and nougat makers have decided to make themselves heard. Everything has been at a standstill for almost a year and a half, they have been left without or with very little work and with families to support.

Refunds? Inadequate. A first compensation has arrived for 600 workers, relating to 2020: about 6 thousand euros each. With the second tranche, the questions multiplied.

"And a cap has been created - explains the president of Ambulantando Css Mauro Zedda -, this time politics has nothing to do with it. The money has been allocated, but the problem is the bureaucracy, and until they give us answers there is no we go. We are ready to pitch our tents ".

At least in six hundred (but more than 2 thousand applications received) await a second tranche of 6 thousand euros. Plus another possible one for the second half of 2021.

According to what was explained by the organizers something in the examination of the practices would be moving, but there are no certainties on the timing of the disbursement of funds. For this reason the workers distributed dozens of flyers in via Roma with the words "Shame".

"The patience is over - reads the document - seven months have passed since the council resolution without cashing a euro. We ask that any obstacle or impediment be removed immediately and the paperwork in order of arrival to the department's protocol be immediately paid. ".
