Regional President Alessandra Todde and Infrastructure Minister Matteo Salvini met this morning to review the situation following the impact of Cyclone Harry on Sardinia.

Todde updated the minister "on the effects and consequences of the severe weather that has hit Sardinia in recent days. During the conversation, the president thanked him for his willingness to help," according to a statement.

The president, the statement continues, "is in constant contact with the Civil Protection Department, with the regional councilor for environmental protection, Rosanna Laconi, who is directly involved in coordinating the interventions, and with the local administrators of the most affected areas, with whom she has expressed full willingness to jointly address the emerging critical issues."

All regional operational structures are working to ensure the safety of the population and the territory and to minimize inconvenience to citizens.
