A last-minute agreement for the Tempio Civil Protection Department . The "Alta Gallura" association has received a municipal order requiring it to vacate its headquarters in the Rinaggiu area by Wednesday, September 30th. The volunteers (who also provide emergency services) have protested the municipal administrators' decision in recent weeks.
This morning, however, an agreement was reached between the parties. Mayor Gianna Masu met with the association's president, Roberto Cossu, accompanied by Francesco Quargnenti. The mayor explained that the entire Rinaggiu complex will be the subject of a comprehensive project that includes the use of the properties assigned to the Civil Protection Department several years ago for public purposes and to enhance the park. At the same time, the association was informed that the Municipality is willing to work together to find a new location. Therefore, for now, no eviction .
