Yet another tragedy in the sea of Cala Lupo , on the Stintino coast: a 70-year-old German tourist died while swimming, not far from the shore.

Spotted by some swimmers, she was dragged to the beach, where 118 emergency medical workers intervened and repeatedly attempted to resuscitate her. The medical team's efforts to save her were unsuccessful. It is still unclear whether she was struck by illness in the water, preventing her from reaching shore. The air ambulance, the 118 ambulance, the Barracelli of the Stintino company, and the Carabinieri from the local station were also on the scene.

They are waiting for the magistrate on duty to arrive on the scene, who may order an autopsy to determine the true cause of death.
