The section of state road 195, between km 5,500 and km 8,200, which is undergoing restoration and safety work following the damage caused by Cyclone Harry last January , will reopen next Friday evening, July 24th.
Meanwhile, Anas has announced that the coastal stretch of state road 195 "Sulcitana" will be closed to traffic from km 5,220 to km 8,900, between Cagliari and Capoterra, tomorrow night and Wednesday, July 22 , to allow for the completion of the restoration work.
The closures will be in effect from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following day. Vehicles heading to Cagliari will be diverted from the roundabout located at km 8.900 of state road 195.
The alternative route involves joining the state road 195 Dir, from km 0 to km 2,800, in the direction of the Macchiareddu consortium backbone , then continuing along the Seconda strada Cacip, the SP 92 and, finally, the Contivecchi Itinerary, from which it will be possible to return to ordinary roads.
However, there will be no changes to the alternative route currently in place towards Pula. The work, costing a total of €1.7 million and scheduled for completion on Friday, July 24, will include the reconstruction of the damaged section of the road exposed to the sea, the installation of new safety barriers, the laying of new road surfaces, and the installation of horizontal markings.
