State Road 195: Possible reopening tomorrow
Anas staff are working to clear the roadway of debris left by the bad weather.Cleanup operations began early this morning on state road 195 between Cagliari and Capoterra.
Anas Sardinia technicians and personnel also conducted an inspection to assess any structural damage. The highway will almost certainly remain closed to traffic today, although there is moderate optimism that it may reopen tomorrow.
The next few hours will be crucial to determine whether special interventions are necessary to safely reopen a road that primarily connects Cagliari with Capoterra, the industrial hub of Sarroch, and Pula. Meanwhile, the only alternative remains the 130 to Assemini, then on to Macchiareddu and finally to the road to Capoterra. Extreme caution is required, as the road signs are not particularly clear. The hope is that the situation will return to normal by tomorrow.
