Uil Sardegna expresses satisfaction for the commitment made by the Health and Labor Commissions, which have given a clear direction to the competent departments to proceed with the stabilization of temporary staff in regional health companies. A step that the union considers fundamental to guarantee certainty to workers and strengthen the island's health system.

The document approved by the commissions calls for the scrolling of the existing stabilization rankings, in compliance with current legislation and with the necessary adjustments to the Three-Year Personnel Requirements Plan (Ptfp). Furthermore, an immediate survey of workers who have matured the requirements set by law is requested, even if currently no longer in service, to promptly activate the stabilization procedures within the limits of available resources.

The regional secretary of Uil, Guido Sarritzu, welcomed the direction given by the commissions, but reiterated the need for rapid intervention by the Region.

"We can no longer tolerate management based on precariousness," Sarritzu said. "These workers have ensured the functioning of the health system in the most difficult moments and now deserve stability. The Department of Health and the Department of Labor must follow up on these provisions without further delay."

In addition to protecting workers, the union emphasizes how stabilization represents an essential step towards strengthening the Sardinian health system, which is suffering from a chronic shortage of personnel. "We need planning and structural investments, not temporary solutions that do not solve the root of the problem," added Sarritzu, recalling that he will continue to monitor the situation so that the commitment made by the institutions does not remain only on paper, but translates into concrete measures in the shortest time possible.
