In 2021 alone, the Sassari Traffic Police Section reduced 18,851 points, withdrew 757 driving licenses and 463 registration papers. There were 1,079 violations due to speeding, of which over 100 with speeds exceeding the permitted limit of 60 km / h; while 395 violations for lack of insurance coverage and 108 violations for driving without a license, because it was never obtained or revoked, were contested.

In addition, 1000 infringements were charged for not using seat belts and 200 for using a mobile phone while driving. 228 drivers were sanctioned for driving a vehicle while intoxicated and abused by drugs.
