A situation that could lead to the resignation of the mayor himself and the dissolution of the Council, with the Municipality in the hands of a commissioner until the next municipal elections.
These are the resigning councilors: Lucio Aramu, Mauro Carboni, Alice Lai, Gabriella Lecis (deputy mayor), Sabrino Porceddu, Claudio Suergiu of the majority and Corrado Murgia of the minority. If the situation does not change, the first possible date for the vote would be May-June 2025.
