Snow returns to the Gennargentu: a white landscape between Desulo and Fonni

Thanks to the drop in temperatures, snowfall has been recorded in the Gennargentu since late afternoon. The landscape is blanketed in white around " Su Filariu " and " S'Arena " in Desulo, then passing through the Fonni hills of Bruncu Spina, Monte Spada and Separadorgiu .
No disruption to traffic, with the snowplows and salt spreaders of the Province and Municipalities preparing for a long night to make the mountain roads safe .
Documenting the snow-covered landscape, in addition to the Baku Meteo webcams , is Desulian reader Roberto Peddio, who says: " A true spectacle . After the rains of recent days, our territory is white again. The hope remains that the snow will benefit our dams against the summer drought and thus attract many tourists in the next few hours."
