Beyond the beach season: Sardinia is reshaping its tourism image , embracing a development model that focuses on its trails, spirituality, villages, culture, food and wine, and widespread hospitality. Slow and experiential tourism and its many facets are the focus of the regional forum scheduled in Luosanganto, Gallura, on November 21st and 22nd.
The "Petru Alluttu" municipal auditorium will host the event titled "Slow and experiential tourism. Luogosanto and Gallura: hospitality and sustainability workshops 365 days a year," which combines education, discussion, and experience.
The day of November 21st will open with the training event dedicated to tourist, environmental and hiking guides and will continue in the afternoon with the regional forum with the main interpreters of the sector and the regional councilor for Tourism Franco Cuccureddu .
The following day, Saturday, November 22nd, an experiential press tour will take place, designed for journalists, bloggers, and tourism professionals and open to the public.
Organized by the Fondazione Destinazioni di Pellegrinaggio in Sardegna , with the patronage of the Regional Department of Tourism, Crafts and Commerce, the event will bring together institutions, scholars, associations promoting the routes, and hospitality professionals for a shared reflection on the present and future of Sardinia, a year-round destination.
Slow tourism isn't just a product, but a strategic lever for territorial development. "The unique characteristics of these territories," says Franco Solinas, president of the Fondazione Destinazioni Pellegrinaggio in Sardegna , "have driven the Foundation's members to focus on the slow, environmental, and spiritual tourism that characterizes our places, diverse yet united by the power of devotion and religiosity."
The regional forum, hosted in Gallura, represents one of the most significant moments in the calendar dedicated to the promotion of the walks, which opened in early November in Oliena with a focus on the Cammino dei Blessed.
