Skull found in the Ploaghe countryside: theories shed light on the disappearance of two elderly men.

A skull was found in the countryside near Badianu between Ploaghe and Codrongianos, having re-emerged from the earth on Saturday 15 November.

The remains, found by a farmer , were handed over to the Carabinieri in Ploaghe.

The investigators' first hypothesis is that it is one of those who disappeared from the Ploaghe RSAs, the elderly Gianni Pittui or Guido Manca , who left the facility some time ago but was never found.

Medical-scientific analyses will be carried out on the skull to trace the person.
