The Municipality of Sinnai has decided: Tarip 2025 bills will no longer be delivered to homes, but will be online. Unless the user specifically requests to continue receiving the paper version, there's no shortage of controversy.

The Municipality assures that it will support users in launching this project to facilitate their work. This will be discussed tomorrow, Monday, in the City Council meeting, during the discussion of interpellations and questions submitted by minority groups on this very topic. The meeting is scheduled for 4:30 PM.

"This move, presented as a step toward sustainability," say Forza Italia councilors Walter Zucca and Roberta Simoni, signatories of a question, "violates ARERA regulations. The authority, in fact, establishes that paper bills remain the default method, with digital bills being offered only as a voluntary option by citizens. The greatest concern is for the older and less digitally literate segments of the population, who could face difficulties."

Councilors Zucca and Simoni say, "With the first Tarip deadline set for August 20th, we need to decide quickly. We will ask the mayor and Councilor Concas to restore automatic paper billing for those who haven't explicitly opted for digital billing, ensuring fairness and simplicity for all citizens."

Councilor Paride Casula of "Uniti per Sinnai" agrees: "I have submitted a question to Tax Councilor Katiuscia Concas to find out who made this decision. In my opinion, it's absurd that citizens should be subjected to such significant news overnight, with press releases issued by a majority increasingly distant from their needs. The dismay among users is more than justified."
