On Friday, February 20th, at 6:00 PM, the Sinnai municipal library will host the latest event in the fourth season of "Mountain Encounters," the thematic series conceived by Marco Mura and Amos Cardia. This project aims to promote travel and sports experiences in contact with nature, as well as important issues such as environmental protection.

This evening's guest speaker will be Maurizio Doro, a seasoned adventurer with a wealth of experience. Marco Mura (educator and outdoor sports enthusiast) will accompany him in recounting his most recent journey: a fifty-day adventure in the Yukon. Doro, on a mountain bike and a packraft, tackled, unassisted, a 2,500-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 24,000 meters, along trails and rivers, alternating between cycling and paddling, sleeping in isolated shelters or sheltered inside his own tent.

The event—with free admission—will be an opportunity to explore places not yet explored in previous editions of this project.
