Sardinian Alpine and Speleological Rescue technicians intervened yesterday afternoon in the countryside of Solanas, in the Sinnai area, to assist a hiker who was injured while out walking.

The 54-year-old German woman was with a group of friends when, due to a fall, she suffered a leg injury that prevented her from continuing her journey.

The alarm was raised around 12:30 pm at the Alpine Rescue Operations Center, via 118. Seven technicians from the Cagliari station responded to the scene, who reached the woman, immobilized her and placed her on a stretcher.
