Siniscola is preparing for an evening filled with charm and spirituality. Tomorrow afternoon, December 29th, at 7:00 PM, the Living Nativity Scene will take place, an evocative performance that will transform the historic center into a timeless Bethlehem. The event will feature approximately 40 costumed figures: Roman soldiers, shepherds, bakers, artisans, commoners, innkeepers, beggars, angels, and the Three Wise Men, as well as some real animals, including two camels, which will further enhance the atmosphere.
At the heart of the event will be the Nativity, the symbolic and spiritual core of the representation: Mary and Joseph in the cave of Bethlehem, next to the baby Jesus humbly lying in a manger.
The performance will be a traveling one, starting from the parish church and moving to the Church of the Rosary. The Living Nativity Scene was funded by the Municipality of Siniscola. The artistic direction is entrusted to Maestro Luigi Ferracani. The organization is handled by the Cursillos of Christianity, with the involvement of the San Giovanni Battista Theater and the collaboration of the parish priest, Don Antonello Tuvone.
