Simaxis, a doctor struck by illness while cycling: he dies on highway 388

He was returning with friends after a bike ride when he felt ill on state road 388 near Simaxis and fell to the ground.

The other cyclists and the paramedics who arrived at the scene in an ambulance offered no help. Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done for Sergio Puddu, a family doctor in Santa Giusta.
