A 54-year-old electrician from Siliqua, already known to law enforcement, was arrested and placed under house arrest . His ex-wife reported being the victim of at least three years of harassment and persecution, culminating in a serious episode of sexual assault in June 2024 .

The Carabinieri then began further investigations, gathering sufficient evidence to order the precautionary measure, which was carried out this morning.
