A very violent impact inside the Is Crevus tunnel, on the Provincial Road 68 .

The accident occurred in the early afternoon, near Siapiccia, along the road leading to Allai. For reasons yet to be determined, a Volkswagen Golf and a Renault Clio collided head-on.

The alarm was raised immediately, and emergency medical services responded to the scene: one of the two drivers, a 65-year-old man, was trapped in the vehicle and was removed by firefighters, who then immediately handed him over to paramedics. The other driver was also injured; both were taken to San Martino Hospital with critical injuries; their lives are not expected to be in danger.

The Carabinieri of the Oristano Radiomobile also intervened on the provincial road and carried out the surveys.
