Siamanna, a community celebrating Adelina Serra's 100th birthday

The entire Siamanna community is celebrating Mrs. Adelina Serra's 100th birthday . Her 100th birthday arrived on Sunday, February 22nd.
"We celebrate with great joy the 100th birthday of our dear fellow citizen," commented Franco Velio Melas, mayor of Siamanna. On Sunday afternoon, a mass in her honor was held at Casa Serena in Tiria, where Mrs. Adelina currently resides. Monsignor Tonino Zedda celebrated the service, in the presence of family, friends, and local government representatives. Born on February 22, 1926, Adelina Serra left for Milan for work at a young age, later returning to Siamanna.
"With simplicity and dedication," Melas continued, "he bore witness to the values that enrich our community's heritage: kindness and love for others."
The mayor and Councilor Bernarda Orrù presented the celebrant with a commemorative plaque, a testament to the community's esteem and gratitude for the new centenarian.
