The search for the two missing people from the Luigino fishing vessel continues under difficult conditions due to adverse sea weather and a strong mistral wind.

The Arbatax Coast Guard patrol boat had to delay its departure for the reconnaissance, which was also carried out from above with the Nemo helicopter from Decimomannu.
The Cagliari Coast Guard's diving unit is also being evaluated for intervention on Saturday, in case of improved weather, to operate safely and attempt to recover the sunken fishing vessel using an ROV.

The victims of the shipwreck are Antonio Morlè and Enrico Piras, 53, and Enrico Piras , 63, a retired prison guard and avid sea enthusiast. They lost their lives around noon yesterday, after the fishing boat sank in stormy seas off the coast of Santa Maria Navarrese .

In the tragic circumstance , 42-year-old Antonio Lovicario was saved, having managed to resist braving very high waves while waiting for help.
