The prosecutor maintains the utmost confidentiality on the results of the examination, as well as on the investigations concerning the maritime accident which on April 12 involved Calvia and his cousin Giovannino Pinna, found alive 24 hours after the sinking of the boat with which the two were staying going on a fishing trip.
Pinna had been found on a beach in Marritza on the evening of April 13 , in critical condition. He had been admitted to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari in a coma induced by hypothermia and the principle of drowning. Resigned on April 20, he has not yet been questioned by the investigators to clarify the dynamics of the accident.
He was only heard informally the day after his admission but his recollections were too fuzzy . The investigations were entrusted by the Public Prosecutor's Office to the Port Authority of Porto Torres and to the Carabinieri of the Porto Torres Company and the Provincial Command of Sassari.
