All in one night. For a 26-year-old woman from Ozieri, May 23, 2025, will be a day to remember because it brought her a trial, which concluded today with an expedited trial, and two charges: residential burglary and aggravated robbery. In both cases, the setting is Sassari, and in the first, an exhibition space where the woman, after closing time, entered and stole a prepaid Postepay card, while being filmed by security cameras. The indictment considers this space to be a private residence, thus adding aggravating circumstances to the prosecution's case. Defense attorney Luigi Conti, in court today during arguments, disagreed with this, requesting that the crime be downgraded to simple theft. For this charge, prosecutor Gianni Caria, in court today, requested a four-year sentence in the expedited trial.

The other incident was much less clear. The 26-year-old woman was accused of stealing three cheese balls from a 76-year-old disabled man in a wheelchair. The act, committed in the home of the man she frequented, prompted the older man to grab her legs, causing her pants to fall. The young woman, in turn, resisted his grip, and the man nearly fell to the floor. The victim partially retracted his initial statement, and the incident has been somewhat downplayed.

The panel, chaired by Monia Adami, with Sara Pelicci and Stefania Mosca-Angelucci on her flanks, ordered that no further proceedings be brought on this charge, while the sentence for the theft was 10 months in prison.
