A woman aboard a motorcycle driven by a 47-year-old fell during the race and was hit by a car.

50-year-old Giovanna Scanu lost her life. Rescuers could not do anything to save her.

The tragedy occurred around one o'clock between the Statale 292 and the entry onto the 291, between the new and the old road that connects Sassari and Alghero.

An autopsy was arranged on the body of the woman, originally from Sassari.
