Sentenced to six years for sexual assault on a minor . This was the order handed down yesterday in court in Sassari by preliminary hearing judge Gian Paolo Piana against a 53-year-old from the hinterland who, according to the charges, between 2021 and 2023 in the capital of Sassari, groped the private parts of a 13-year-old girl , the daughter of his partner .
The incidents allegedly took place in the woman's home and without her knowledge.
After the complaint, the man ended up under investigation until the proceedings which saw the judge also decide on compensation for the civil parties, equal to 50 thousand euros for the girl's father , represented by the civil party lawyer Gabriela Pinna Nossai, and 30 thousand for the mother of the 13-year-old , assisted by the lawyer Bastianino Ventura.
The defendant was defended by the lawyer Luigi Satta while the prosecutor was Elisa Succu who, at the end of her closing speech, had requested a seven-year prison sentence.
