Serious hunting accident this morning in the Seulo countryside: a man suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach .

The 118 rescuers intervened immediately: the hunter was urgently transported by helicopter to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari with a red code assigned.

It is still unclear what happened .

The investigations by the carabinieri will help to understand if the man was shot by another hunter or if it was his rifle that fired, due to an accident.
