A fault has left half of Sestu at risk of being left without water. Abbanoa's announcement came this morning. The initial announcement stated that water would be cut off until 2:30 PM. However, according to the water company, the problem should be resolved even sooner.

As the agency explains, "A pipe joint has burst on Via Tripoli, where work is already being completed. We're already completing the repairs, so it's possible that the water supply won't even be cut off, because even though the mains supply is shut off, users are currently using the remaining water."

Meanwhile, scheduled work to renovate the water mains continues: tomorrow there will be another water outage, this time scheduled, between Via Scipione and Via Monserrato, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
