The firefighters of the biological chemical bacteriological unit had to intervene this morning in the warehouse of a commercial business in the industrial area of Sestu to prevent worse consequences caused by a chemical product.

The toxic fumes required the worker to be transferred to the hospital: fortunately, his condition is not worrying.

Meanwhile, the team sent by the Cagliari command, equipped with tools and personal protective equipment, carried out checks to identify the type of substances used and monitored the air inside the premises, restoring safe conditions to the facility.
