Three arrests were made following a traffic accident on State Road 131 in mid-December . Three people, one of Roma origin and two relatives born in Italy , were charged with attempted extortion and stalking a woman who owned a Chinese shop. Two other people were ordered not to approach the victim or her shop .

The case began, as mentioned, in mid-December when a car driven by the shopkeeper's husband rear-ended a car driven by one of the suspects. From that day on, the woman allegedly suffered extortion attempts, subsequently reporting the matter to the Carabinieri in Sestu, who, coordinated by Lieutenant Riccardo Pirali, began an investigation conducted with the utmost discretion. The magistrate subsequently issued an arrest warrant against three individuals, who have now been jailed. Two were arrested in the town. The third was arrested in Fluminimaggiore in collaboration with the Carabinieri of the local station.
