Four people were injured in an accident in Sestu , on the new state road 131, involving four vehicles, one of which crashed head-on into the guardrail.

In the collision, a car, which was travelling in the direction of Sassari, lost its snow chains, which ended up in the other lane, causing a second accident , which involved another car, whose driver was unharmed.

On site, to assist the injured - who suffered head injuries and were taken to hospital with red code - various 118 ambulances and firefighters.

The Highway Police are also conducting investigations to reconstruct the exact circumstances and possible responsibilities for the incident.
