A 20-year-old was in handcuffs, who attacked Alberto Pippia, a commercial agent, with a scacciacani gun. But the victim fled, sounding the alarm

Alberto Pippia, mayor of Baratici San Pietro (Oristano) as well as a commercial agent, was parking his car, when suddenly he was approached by a young man armed with a pistol, who ordered him to hand over all the money.
Pippia, however, despite the threat, quickly got into the car, closed the doors and engaged the reverse gear, managing to escape.
Then the alarm at 112, with the carabinieri who collected the identikit of the robber and sent some patrols to the scene, coming from Quartu and Sestu.
The suspect was soon recognized and stopped: he is a 20-year-old from Sestu, already known to the police.
The weapon was also found: a semi-automatic dog scacciacani pistol without a red cap.
After the release of handcuffs, the 20-year-old was taken to the Uta prison, at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
