The flames destroyed four electrical cabins with significant damage (currently being ascertained) to the business of the entrepreneur Salvatore Floris, owner of Novauto in Cagliari, who in 2012 purchased the land and the building that was the headquarters of the largest call center in Sardinia.
Renovation work is underway in the area to restore the building and redevelop the area with the creation of new parking lots.
"They reported an electrical blackout and we thought it was a problem caused by the bad weather of the past few days. This morning we did an inspection and we realized what had happened. A very bitter surprise and a very hard blow to the project under construction", commented bitterly Salvatore Floris. The Carabinieri of Sestu are investigating the episode.
