There were injuries in the collision on Provincial Road 8, between State Road 130 and the former State Road 131, just before the Sestu roundabout. For reasons currently under investigation, two cars collided near the Cagliari and Sassari interchanges.

Three 118 ambulances were on the scene. The Sestu local police, who responded with three patrols, were entrusted with the investigation. Traffic is closed, with a diversion to state road 131.
