Fifty-one children were not allowed to attend the nursery school on Via Verdi, in Sestu . Parents decided to do so in protest against the closure of the Via Laconi school, which was unable to open this year because no teaching assistant was assigned .

Hence the move to Via Verdi, but the parents disagree. "This location is too old and far away," Martina Matta says among themselves. "We had chosen Via Laconi because of its proximity and because it's a modern facility. Instead, we were informed at the last minute."

The parents hung a protest sign in front of the school gate on Via Verdi and decided not to let their children enter for three days. "Then, for their own good, we'll let them attend classes here, but we'll evaluate how to continue our protest," explains Carla Falchi.
