Thirteen kilos of drugs were seized by the Guardia di Finanza in Sestu, where a 47-year-old man was arrested.
Officers from the Cagliari Provincial Command, as part of a territorial control operation, stopped the man in a car. A 47-year-old Italian man, resident in Sestu, without a driver's license, he immediately appeared nervous and agitated. This behavior aroused the officers' suspicions, and they decided to accompany him to his home to search it.
As soon as they entered, a strong smell of drugs was already evident, so the "Abba" and "Quilly" canine units arrived on the scene, leading to the discovery of 11.5 kilos of hashish and 1.5 kilos of marijuana, as well as precision scales and packaging material.
The drugs were divided into 137 blocks, all hidden between the kitchen and bedroom, ready to be sold in the drug dealing areas of the Cagliari area. They would have fetched approximately €150,000.
The 47-year-old was immediately arrested and charged with drug trafficking and possession.
