On board a scooter, he tried to evade a traffic control by the carabinieri by deviating from his path and heading into a side street.
But the military personnel noticed him, pursued and searched. The man, an unemployed 50-year-old from Serrenti, an old acquaintance of the police, was chased, blocked and searched by the carabinieri.
He was in possession of some doses of cocaine, so the search was extended to his home, where 1.1 kilos of marijuana, 20 grams of cocaine, 35 of cutting substance plus a sling bar and material to package the doses were found, as well as to 250 euros in banknotes of various denominations.
All the material was seized, while the man was taken first to the security rooms of the Sanluri barracks and then to the Uta prison.
The 50-year-old also receives the citizenship income, the checks on the existence of the requirements to be entitled to it have started.
